Travelling the Silk Road: Ancient Pathway to the Modern World is now showing at the National Museum of Australia – its one exclusive Australian venue.
Step 1000 years back in time to experience the sights, sounds and stories of the greatest trading route in history in this new exhibition from the American Museum of Natural History, New York.
Embark on a thrilling journey along the legendary Silk Road, exploring the ancient cities of Asia and the Middle East over six centuries, where spectacular sights, exquisite silks and rousing stories await.
Remarkable dioramas, fascinating interactives and impressive artefacts will amaze children and adults alike on this adventure along the world's oldest international highway.
