Archaeologists conduct salvage excavation at Tang Dynasty tomb in Beijing

Photo's taken on June 22, 2013 shows the archeological site of an ancient tomb in Fangshan District of Beijing, capital of China. 
A gravestone excavated from the tomb confirmed that the tomb was the final resting place of Liu Ji, a regional military governor of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), and his wife. 
Archaeologists have started a salvage excavation of the tumulus since August 2012, after it was accidentally discovered at a local construction site. 
Valuable cultural relics, including an exquisite stone coffin bed, were discovered. (Xinhua/Luo Xiaoguang)
