Introduction:
There was a "Southeast Asia's Cross-Cultural and Cultural Heritage" Symposium held in Singapore in October, 2011, inviting scholars and expects home and abroad to communicate inter-regional flows of goods and ideas from cross-cultural perspectives widely.
To further explore the cross-cultural exchange in Asia, organized by Center for Chinese Archaeology, Peking University, Zhejiang Institute of Archaeology, China National Silk Museum, and China Tea Museum, a symposium named “Maritime Silk Road: Cross Culture Exchange and Legacy in Asia” will be held in Hangzhou during Oct. 25 –29.
