These are called pattra-leaf scriptures -- the writings are carved on pattra leaves by pens made of iron or bamboo. This one is more than 1000 years old.

Xiong Wenbing, deputy curator of Museum of Tibetan Culture, said, "These ancient scriptures shed light on the earlier stages of Buddhism. And their value is recognized more and more by scholars today."
China has assembled a group of scholars, archaeologists and other professionals to protect these scriptures.
Apart from sacred texts, the Buddhist statues also draw people’s attention with their heart-stopping beauty.
