Footsteps of the Buddha
Watch specialist Jacqueline Dennis connect the spread of Buddhism across Asia to the silk-trade routes that helped spread of Buddhist philosophy. "Footsteps of the Buddha", a highly curated selling exhibition highlighting pan-Asian Buddhist paintings and sculptures, is on display at Sotheby's New York 3-23 September.
