The catalogue of this exhibition is as usual with MET exhibitions so good that every picture you make at the exhibition yourself can be found back in the catalogue 10 times better .
But art is in the details sometimes and the pictures below are about the details of many of the objects that can be found at this exhibition and which show a remarkable number of faces of people who lived in the era of the Seljuks and these faces are of real people and are a real treat.
Sometimes they look charming than stern and than laughing again.
This exhibition is not only about the art of the Seljuks but about the people who lived in this era when living in this area of the world was dangerous and uncertain (not that much changed since than).
